CCNL’s 2020 Year in Review

What a year it’s been! 2020 was full of challenges, but the CCNL team, our community partners and youth employees put their best foot forward. We continued to provide valuable professional development and mentorship opportunities to youth across the province, work with communities to strengthen their resiliency to climate change, and educate and empower young people to understand the role of climate change in their lives.

CCNL served over 5,000 children through our climate change programming. Adapting to digital platforms enabled us to develop new, innovative methods to connect with youth across NL.

95 young people participated in our employment and mentorship opportunities. Adapting our Green Team Program to COVID-19 guidelines meant smaller teams tackling big projects.

We’ve partnered with 32 organizations and groups across NL. CCNL’s community partners make our programs possible.

From workshops with municipalities to educational opportunities with community groups, CCNL kept our community ties strong despite physical distancing.
