Poster Contest Winners Announced!

Working in partnership, the North Atlantic Aerosols and Marine Ecosystems Study, Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, and Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador would like to announce the winners of our province-wide "What Does Climate Change Mean to You?" poster contest!

 

Congratulations to: 

- Primary division: Jemma Butler from Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Corner Brook, Newfoundland (grade 3) 
- Elementary division: Kendra Winters from Amos Comenius Memorial School in Hopedale, Labrador (grade 6)

Our exciting new ECHO Program has just launched! 

* The 2016 application period is now closed. We will be in touch with the selected applicants once the selection process is completed!

The Environmental and Cultural Hiring Opportunity (ECHO) Program builds strong connections between youth and local organizations, communities, and municipalities by providing students (ages 15-30) with training and employment opportunities through paid work placements with community-based organizations.
