Krista House-Perry is from the Northern Peninsula, and earned her degree in Environmental Studies from Sir Wilfred Grenfell College in 2001. Her work in the environmental field has taken her from Costa Rica to Torbay, through Conservation Corps' Environmental Leadership Program in 2002. She remained involved with the organization as a volunteer through a variety of programs, which ultimately led to her accepting a position as Public Education and Outreach Coordinator in 2007.
