As a Green Team member you can make a difference.  Support your community while you get work experience and training to help improve our natural and cultural resources.

How Green Teams Works

Each year the Conservation Corps accepts proposals from businesses, community groups, and governments for exciting environmental and cultural projects.

We select the top 25 projects from across the province that meet our youth-focused goals. Activities range from building trails to developing educational campaigns for environmental and cultural issues.

As each project is approved, we hire interested youth (ages 16-30) from each area to form the local Green Team. Green Teams consists of a Team Leader and a varying number of Team Members (normal Team size is 1 Team Leader and 3 Team Members) working on their own project. The success of each project is in the Team's hands. All the teams in each region are managed by a regional supervisor.
