Conservation Corps Green Teams Welcome Clara Hughes!

Olympic medalist and motivational speaker Clara Hughes spoke to Green Teams at Marble Mountain Lodge on June 30, 2010. The training camp, which involved teams from all regions of the province, was highlighted by Clara's motivational and inspiring story.

Clara, who is known for her passion for youth causes, is the only athlete ever to win multiple medals at both the summer and winter Olympic Games. On April 7, 2010, Clara received the Order of Canada because of her work with the Right to Play the organization that brings sports to children in the developing countries.
